Ada, Michigan, USA (February 3, 2016) – The Amway today announced sales of $ 9.5 billion dollars for the year ended December 31, 2015 ie a decrease by 12% compared with 2014.

The company has achieved remarkable growth in key markets such as the United States, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Malaysia, along with other emerging markets like Brazil, Mexico and many others.

 

The top 10 markets for Amway in 2015 were China, South Korea, the United States, Japan, Thailand, Russia, Taiwan, Malaysia, India and Ukraine.

 

The food category vitamins, nutritional supplements and weight management products were once again to the top of sales for Amway, accounting for 46% of sales. Here the beauty and personal care products by 25%. Durable goods, including the eSpring Water Treatment System ™ and the Atmosphere ™ Air treatment system, constituted 16% of sales, while household care products accounted for 7%. Other offerings contributed 6% to total sales. Major releases for Amway in 2015 included the Nutrilite Phyto2Go ™, the Truvivity ™ by Nutrilite ™, the Artistry Supreme LX ™ and Artistry Hydra-V ™.

 

The Amway continued its investment process in 2015, focusing on production, research and development, and on digital platforms and education for Webmasters Amway Corporation. Last year alone, the company opened five production plants and a large research and development center, – culminated in the expansion of investment in production, research and development of $ 335 million. In addition, the company introduced new digital tools to help Amway Business Owners to run their businesses, to show the products, but also to acquire new skills and knowledge.
